Hello. I recently had a problem with my HDD and was able to replace with a new one. Unfortunately, I came across a new problem.

For some reason, my Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo fan stopped working. My CPU case is Azza Hurricane 2000 and the rear/back fan stopped spinning as well. There are 8 fans that comes with the Azza Hurricane 2000 case and other 7 fans are working fine. It's just my Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo fan and the rear/back fan.

If it was just the rear/back fan I wouldn't be so worried but I'm a bit worried about my Hyper 212 Evo fan.

Any idea?

Did the plug come loose at all? Or is a cord caught in the fans and preventing the, to spin?

What fans are plugged into what?

The CPU fan should be plugged into the motherboard cpu fan header.

But the case fans can be plugged into a fan controller, the motherboard or a combination of both.

CPU fan is plugged into the motherboard. It's plugged into CPU_FAN1 so I tried plugging into CPU_FAN2 but with no luck. I don't think the plug came loose at all, at least not to my understanding

Yeah. Both power supply connectors are properly plugged in. The odd thing is, I played around with the CPU fan line/cable and the fan turned on for like 2-3 seconds and stopped again. Does this mean there's something wrong with the fan and not the Motherboard?

And I have no idea what is wrong with the rear fan because that's the CPU case fan. All other CPU case fans are working fine except the rear one.

Could mean its not plugged into the motherboard properly or the fan itself or the cable is faulty.

Refit the connector to the motherboard. If that doesn't work, buy another 120mm PWM fan - they are all standard and can be interchanged.

Try to reset the bios to it's optimal default values.
