What to look for in a good monitor??
I want 1080p. No need for more than that.
Also do i need more than 60hz? Apparently a human eye cant tell a difference if its more than that.
Also i know about the response time , so obviously 1ms response is the best.
Any good monitors you could suggest to me??

( I have a monitor 1080p 23inches from 2007, not sure what model or make, is it worth buying a new monitor? would i see a significant difference?? )
Thanks

A human eye can see more than 60 hz, but it depends on the person. You are right about the response time being better. What hz is the monitor that you already own. And I personally would not bother upgrading yet if it was somewhere in the 60 hz area...especially if you don't really care about being more than 1080p.

the monitor i own is 60hz. The screen looks good, but its nearly 8 years old now. I once went into a gaming shop and the screens there were so much sharper and crisper, also 1080p. I probably wont upgrade yet, maybe in 1 or 2 months, but just want to know what to look for in a good sharp monitor. Thanks

You can look for a really high contrast ratio, good response times, LED or LED backlit ones, ones that have IPS if you want that feature.

You may want to try factory resetting the settings of your current monitor and then tweaking them for your system and what you are using it for. You may get a better picture.
