heres my set up,
MOBO: M5A99FX Pro R2.0
CPU: AMD FX8350 4.0 ghrz
GPU: PNY GTX 770 4gb OC Enthusiast Edition
RAM: 16gb Corsair Vengeance
PSU: 850 watt Corsair AX850
CASE: NZXT PHANTOM

I think it's a pretty good build right? Well, for some reason, it seems like maybe the components don't work well together, and it seems like maybe i need an upgrade somewhere in there. I understand that typically, amd is inferior to intel? Well, for the price, it was perfect to me. I enjoy amd, but i'm wondering, what if i switched to an intel 4790K? what kind of benefits would that come with? How would i notice the effect in games? Anyone have an idea where i could benefit?

It looks like a solid build - is there anything in particular that you find lacking? I'm Intel and nVidia biased, but my bias is based on personal experience and benchmarks. The FX8350 definitely has some points in it's favor, but for all-around computing, I don't think it's comparable to the 4790K.

That should be a pretty good, above-average, well-rounded build. You should be able to run pretty much every game on ultra settings, without much, if any, frame-rate issues.

You're going for the 4gb version of the gtx 770,are you aiming for sli or a big res screen? Otherwise would the 2gb version imo be good enough and is probably cheaper.

Looks like a solid build.Get a good cooler for that cpu.
