Hey guys,
First build finally got the money. Thinking about doing an AMD Gaming build on a 1000$ budget. Let me know your opinions and send me some constructive criticism and feedback. Btw its with the new R9 285

total build costs just under 1000$ canadian

Running any amd CPU you should get an aftermarket cooler for cheap effectiveness get the hyper evo 212. AMD stock coolers are very ineffective

i plan on eventually over clocking this but not anytime soon so keep that in mind. will i need the after market cooler even if i dont over clock the cpu? also how many fans is necessary in your case?

I would strongly recommend the aftermarket cooler with that processor. The processor runs hot and the AMD cooler runs at high speed to cool it = noisy!!

ok so dont even install the stock get rid of it completely? the other guy mentioned a cooler is it a good choice? quiet? cheap?
