Light Current Shocks

Hey guys i just got a new gaming pc yesterday and i have been experiencing light
electric shocks when i touch the cpu case.Nothing major but its annoying
Components
fx 8350
r9 280x vapour x
8gb kingston hyper x ram
msi 990fxa gd65
cooler master thunder 600w psu
Please help me

Is it the first time you touch the case? If you hold the case for a minute do you keep getting shocked? If it is a metal case, and you are getting little shocks only when you touch it (at the moment of touching it) I would think it was static discharge. Need more clarification.

Your case isn't grounded ? This would mean your electrical outlet has a faulty ground or your Power supply is defective

It's most likely your Power supply since this one is of very poor quality, i would recommend changing it for at least a tier 3 PSU but would prefer a Tier 2B or 2A if possible. Refer to this list for tier : http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1804779/power-su...

XFX are not that much expensive and are of very good quality. EVGA are OK and are prefered to Corsair CX, but this would do also.

Nope. Case should be grounded; static cannot persist in a grounded environment.

Check your PSU is properly screwed in and that you're using a grounded cord and socket.
