I would just like to confirm before I hit that "Purchase" button that everything is compatible and will work together well. Hopefully I haven't messed things up...

If this is a gaming build, go to Microcenter and substitute that FX-8350 with an i5-4690k and a Z97 motherboard for about the same price if one exists in your area. If not, through newegg grab an i5-4590 off of newegg and a Z97 motherboard instead. You'll be way happier. Trust me.

Unfortunately, there is no Microcenter in my area and I have already purchased the GPU and CPU. At this time I am only purchasing a new MOBO and RAM. Should I still get the Z97 motherboard instead?

Everything works... but make one small change: the RAM you chose is 1333Mhz but both mobo and CPU supports 1866Mhz RAM which is just $6.00 USD more... you should get that.

No, if you already have the FX-8350 then just stick with the 990FX.
