So as the title suggests, I would like to construct this monstrous build for purposes of machine learning and general scientific computing. However, I also realized that it will take over 1500 watts of power to keep it running (multiple accounts spread throughout the internet suggest that a 1500 watt psu will be burnt up by this build). I am wondering what possible solutions are available for someone in my situation. I've thought of going the distributed route before and building a cluster (so each node requires less power), but I prefer the idea of just one monster workstation.

Thanks. I obviously am not very well versed in the world of power supplies. Would a 1600 watt blow out my wall outlet (North America)?
