Hello everyone!!

I have come here cause I have exhausted everything I can do to try to fix this issue. I'm actually a Networking student ATM and even with the knowledge that I have I can't figure this out.

So my problem is that at completely random times I'll loose all communication to the router. What a general day is for me is, i'll be connected playing games browsing the web and everything is dandy.

After a while I'll notice VERY high latency. I'll use the ping command with a -n to continuously ping as I watch this happen. It will jump around every 3rd or 4th ping ranging from 50ms all the way to 3000ms. Eventually the router will just stop communicating with my PC even though I have full bars in terms of signal.

What I don't get is that it will work fine for hours even days and all of this is happens randomly with no apparent trigger. It could be at 10 am or 2 pm or 3 am or while watching a movie on netfilx or gaming. Complete randomness

1. My router is in the basement of my house and I'm on the 2nd floor. (Note: Still have good signal up here)

2. I have a TP link WIFI adapter (http://thecoolgadgets.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/TP-Link-TL-WN822N-USB-WiFi-adapter.jpg) which I doubt is the problem since I had a WAP before and it was the same thing.

3. To my knowledge it only happens on my PC. Other devices seem to work fine like my PS4, phone and others but I am uncertain.

4. Another sittuation that happens is that I'll ping -n, have great MS and every packet reaching the destination. I'll them try to do something like go to a website or start up a game and it will INSTANTLY drop. It will go from from a perfect ~50ms to Host unreachable or Request has timed out. After a few mins of waiting it will come back again.

5, I have changed the router already. Went from a Cisco wireless N to a Zyxel AC (from the ISP)

6. 2.4ghz band and have channel 11 to myself. I have tried using different channels before with no success.

7. Sometimes resting the router will fix it but not always.

Here is an example of what I mean. http://i.imgur.com/lD6wCUh.jpg?1

So yeah, I have no clue what's going on and hopefully you guys can help. Also moving the router is not an option atm. Seeing as its not a signal problem tho I'm not sure it would help.

Thanks for taking the time to read this wall of text. !!!!!
