AMD ULPS [Ultra Low Power State]?

The idea is that when your displays are ordered into stand-by mode by the OS, the graphics card does the same and powers down everything that may be necessary to actually put a picture on the screen (presumably in conjunction with lowering its clocks).

Ideally it shouldn't have any effect at all when that's not happening, but various reports exist which say that disabling it has a positive effect. Especially with cross-fired cards.

Oh I see. Thank you for this. So what are advantages of turning this off when you're in a game? Is it true that it gives better performance when it's disabled?

I can't believe I just saw this on MSI afterburner right now haha.

This might explain why my screen won't turn on when it was on sleep. No matter what button I press on the keyboard? It would not turn on. But thanks for the answer.
