newer intel cpu like faster ram. the stock cpu cooler are not made for gaming...the 30.00 for the aftermarket cooler will keep your gaming rig cool. used a smaller case with a window and used the saving for a boot ssd for speed.
if you want your pc to glow there 20.00 nxzt 2 meter led kits. on the gpu hold off on ordering it till after nvidia drops the nda on there new cards dropping in 2 weeks.

You need to pick a mobo. But I would say that your cpu is fine for now and at least 3 years but the gpu is brilliant. But could you possibly consider getting the cheaper 280/280x and getting more ram.

OK so solid build with a few changes. (my view)

- Add Motherboard (seriously)
- Change from "Caviar Blue" to "Caviar Black" HD-D
- Remove Disk-drive (unless you really need it)
