My PC stutters when I play games such as League and CS: GO.

I built my PC over 2 years ago and faced no problems. However over the past month or so, my PC started to face random stutters when I play games like League of Legends. The stutters look like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ocKfYNV-xHo however it's in game and lasts for about 1-3 seconds.

My specs:
GPU - Nvidia 560 Ti
CPU - Intel i5 2500k
RAM - 8 GBs
OS - Windows 7

Thanks in advanced.

It may also be a networking error, If you are over wifi then something might interreupt the signal from reaching your computer. If thats not it it would probably be the graphics card, wear and tear probably got to hit and now performance is lacking. HOw is the cooling situation on your card and in your case?

I had a computer that started to do the same thing, for me it was just the drivers that I was using. Even if your drivers say they are up to date you may want to re install them, as that worked for me.

I already did that. I even downgraded my drivers to the previous drivers.

The cooling situation is decent. I bought a after market CPU fan and all the temps for the GPU and such are decent. How do I check if it's a network issue?

Its fairly hard to explain over text, Just look it up on youtube and you'll find a good tutorial. Also When you play your game, run a gpu stress meter to see if your card ever drops to zero, then goes back to normal. If that happens it would mean a faulty card.

I just ran a game of League while running GPU-Z and my GPU load fell from about 60% to 1% whenever my game stuttered. However this time it wasn't a stuttering. It was just a freeze of video. The audio kept playing but the video just freezes for a second or two.

I used to have an old 660 and it would do this also, I talked to the manufacturer of the and an they said that their was nothing I could really do, as it is normally caused by wear and tear involving heat. I'm assuming that the card is out of your warranty but I would still try to contact the manufacturer of your card.
