I have an HP pavilion desktop and a year or so ago the hard drive went bad. I finally got enough cash to replace the hard drive and also upgraded my gpu and psu. I had it running and it worked great for a whole day. The next day my games started freezing and showing signs of HDD failure once again and locking up constantly during normal use. I sent back the HDD (WD Blue 1tb) in exchange for a replacement, and also new sata cables. I installed the new HDD and cables, and also plugged them in to a different unused sata port on the board. I played team fortress 2 for an hour or so with no problems. Everything seemed great. Then team fortress started crashing. I tried other games, lockups started. Now with regular use, it also locks up and sometimes blue screen. Did I really get two bad HDDs in a row or is my motherboard fried? Also did a RAM check and it found no errors.

Mainly when I run games, textures and objects have a hard time rendering, and eventually freeze with HDD light constantly lit up on case. The fans don't get loud or anything it runs pretty quiet.
