hello , so i just bought an asus gtx770 oc and i need your help choosing a cpu+mobo. i know i5 4690k is already an overkill for gaming but gimme ur opinions guys . i think getting an i7 for ~ +50-100$ worths since i m planning to keep this pc for a long time..

or any other Z97 mobo get a $200 i5 and then upgrade when the new 5th gen intel chips come out. Honestly mobo won't improve the FPS that much but the features are what your paying i.e the ability to overclock RAM or CPU's at the click of a button.

oh god last days i m reading reviews and such about i5 4690k and i7 4790k..i m really not sure if its worth getting the i7 one for ~130$ more.. whats gonna be the difference ? i mean u think i m gonna see any heavy difference? does it worth at all..?i m multitasking and such while playin but nothing really heavy..but on the other hand i m planning to keep this computer for a long time..oh boy i m so comfused lol. about motherboard yea i guess i ll stick to a z97 .. my full build till now is 2x4gb vengeance 250ssd gtx770 oc

A i5 will last you 5-6years, a i7 will last you 7 or more, think about how long you want to last before a upgrade

i5 will enable you to last long say 6+ years or so without any problem. Plus you are not into that much multi tasking or heavy processing so i5 should be fine for your needs.
Anyhow, stated above, there is another perspective: If you have budget then yes why not i7?
