Hey Guys

Solution

No.

It means when they were making the game, they created the meshes, lighting, and code in an amateur or unskilled way. This can decrease performance from bloated or buggy scripts, unused vertices, and other problems.

To state it simply, "poorly optimized" just means they didn't give a crap about the game so they didn't bother to fix...

Not Well Optimized means that the game does not run like it should ( lags on systems that are capable to play the game, crashes, freezes at times etc ).

You should be able to play the game with your GPU.

P.S: You can remove the 30 fps cap for the game ( Google it )

Is that mean they gave a Minimun requirments for the game much more than what should be just For Marketing Reasons ?

Poorly optimized games require strong hardware to run because it's easier for the careless developers to tell people to buy better video cards than it is for them to fix their game.

The 30 fps cap isn't directly linked to optimization, it's just a complaint people have, and on PCs it's usually just another indicator that the developers didn't care enough about the game they were making. On consoles a 30 fps cap can be a good thing, however, since their hardware is more limited and efficiently controlled.

yes they gave the most comforting minimum requirements for the company, probably due to crunch times/lack of testing. They should of over tested this game, and it doesn't seem like they did.

my specs are a joke, this computer is over 8 years old.
intel c2d e6600 @ 2.4ghz
DDR2 667 8gigs
amd radeon HD 7750
running out of win7 64bit
I've only replaced the vid card on it this past year.

with these comp specs and the game settings set to minimum i can run the game with no crashing. I just uncapped the fps and was about to see what i get frame wise but it feels like 30 fps with drops to about 15 fps. that can kinda suck going down the street in a vehicle when theres zeds all over the place, but its dealable. I don't have loading issues like i've been reading that others have had or crashing issues. The game is steady and playable just more challenging depending upon how many zombies are on the screen.
