Delayed windows login, black screen for awhile after logging in before going to desktop

Hi, so after i decided to clean reinstall my gpu drivers,using the catalyst 14.4 driver i've been getting a delayed windows login that slowly loads into a black screen with cursor and goes normally into desktop with delayed icons.Any ideas as to what is causing this? everything else works nicely, and also im using a dual monitor setup


Proc:I5 4670k
Mobo:MSI Z87-G41 PC Mate
GPU:Sapphire R9 280x
SSD:SanDisk Ultra Plus 128gb
HDD: 2x 1tb Caviar Blue
PSU:Raidmax 1000w(have mercy)

Did you check your startup entries? You can check it safely with CCleaner (via Tools > Startup). If this doesn't help (i.e., there's nothing unnecessary there) then see the event log. If that doesn't show anything unusual then you can try analyzing with boot trace.

Oh thanks, event viewer showed some errors on the usb drivers, and i've been plugging my phone the entire time, removing that worked like a charm, weird tho thanks again
