Hi I am new to this and not even sure if i am posting on the right category, if I am not posting on the right category I am sorry :/
I am looking for some opinions and help with a PC build that I am planning on building soon.
My budget is only between $1200 to $1300 AUD.
This is the build I came up with using this website, I am using this website because I found it to be the cheapest and it is local.
http://www.pccasegear.com/
These are the components I came up with:
CPU- Intel Core i5 4690K $269
Motherboard- MSI H97 Gaming 3 Motherboard $149
Memory- Corsair Vengeance Pro CMY8GX3M2A1600C9R 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 $115
Graphics card- Sapphire Radeon R9 270X Toxic Boost 2GB $269
CPU cooler- NZXT Kraken X31 120mm AIO Liquid CPU Cooler $89
PSU- Cougar PowerX 700W 80 PLUS Bronze Power Supply $85
Storage- Seagate Barracuda 1TB ST1000DM003 $65
Case- CoolerMaster Cosmos SE Full Tower Case $169.00
total $1210
I have done the research and the back checking and I believe this is the best build I could find for my budget but I might be totally wrong.
The help that I need is a few things :)
1) Are all these parts compatible? Including with this case fix this card because I know and have read it is a pretty big card.
2) Will I get any bottlenecking with this build with the CPU or graphics card?
3) Is this the best build for the money that I have to work with?
4) A more important question... will this run all my games smoothly? I play on 1080p, games including some older ones eg:
World of Warcraft, Killing Floor, Battlefield Bad Company 2 a few of the Call of Duty games
BLOPs2 MW3. I did the testing and they should all max out fine, plus a few new ones
BF4, Titanfall, Archeage, Payday 2, Planetary Annihilation and some future games like Battlefield Hardline and others around the same graphics of BF4.
What frames could I except in bf4 say on ultra or high settings?
I am open to any opinions and answers... thank you in advance for the help.

Solution
Instead of buying z97 MB, ultra case amd liq. cooler ... buy a midrange MB and quad core cpu like i5-4690 or 4460 and get a better GPU... any way thats a good build but I'll make changes to the Build if U don't mind to be better ....
I'll choose H97 chip it's Non-z OC that you can OC with it perfectly ..

You should swap that 120mm AIO cooler for an noctua nh-d15/14/phanteks 14c (cant remember specific names)

They offer much better cooling performance at lower volume than the 120mm AIO cooler for the same price.

Basically "only" +240mm AIO coolers can beat an high end air cooler. (by a small margin of 1-5c)

and ditch that 270$ 270x and buy an r9 280 for 240$

Oh, and almost forgot, since you go with an 4690K cpu i think that you are overclocking?

Get an Z97 motherboard instead of H97

Hi i had a look at the answer you wrote.
i haven't had much experience overclocking would it be worth overclocking it to play newer games ? or is the build ok to say play BF4 at ultra 1080p?
if i can ask a few questions if that is ok?
the coolers you recommended are all air cooling? is that better than AIO liquid coolers? i thought liquid was gave better temps than air? im probably wrong but haha
the card u referenced does look a lot nicer plus the cooling and higher memory. my other question is.
is a h97 not compatible with the cpu i choose or is a z97 just better?
sorry still new to all this and i like to get all the info i can :)

In short:

120mm AIO watercoolers cant beat "high end" air coolers. (240mm AIO watercoolers can)

H97 is compatable with the cpu, but Z97 is for overclocking.

If you dont plan to overclock, get an xeon e3-1230V3 (its basically an i7-4770 without the integrated GPU)

overclocking is the easiest way to achieve more FPS for "free" :D
