Any suggestions on what needs improving/removing? We're new to this. It comes to around £970.

1) DO NOT OVERCLOCK YOUR PROCESSOR!
2) instead of Ballistix take Kingston, G.Skill or Team they are better
3)instead of 7850 i'd offer you to take r9 270x its a bit expensive (~30$) but its much more faster and will give you 15-25fps more than 7850

What is wrong with overclocking?

Other than that it looks ok?

there are a lot of problems in short it's overheating, lagging (maybe), making CPUs' life shorter
and you just do not need more ghz than your processor gives you, believe me :)
