As the name of the thread implies, I am curious about the ASUS 780 Strix 6GB SLI solution for 4K/5760x1080 gaming.

I plan to buy two of them, hence the SLI.

Here is my question; According to benchmarks, this card in SLI will handle just about anything at 4K high/ultra without AA on at 50-60 FPS (I really don't care for AA at that resolution anyway). I could get a 780 ti SLI that is only 5% to 7% faster in FPS than this card. I know I will be paying around $1200 for these two cards, is extra $100-$200 worth it for a 5-6 FPS bump as well as lose 3GB of VRAM? I really cannot notice any FPS increase beyond 60. (Or is Nvidia trying to gouge you of $700+ for a minor increase in FPS...)

Bottom line... Will the ASUS 780 Strix 6GB SLI be a great option or should I jump on the GTX 780 ti bandwagon?

(To give you all a better idea of FPS I should expect, let me post my computer specs as of now.)
