A Refurbished PSU?

Thanks for clicking this forum.

Hey Guys, my question is whether a refurbished Power Supply will work just fine. Due to my budget I saw a great deal on Scan where there was a Corsair HX650 Refurbished. This is a Semi-Modular PSU and 80+ Gold which caught my eye. However what I also saw was "Refurbished" (I think Factory Refurbished, not sure).

After seeing the Refurbished sign I got a bit worried, this was in my budget range and I also needed a 600w-650w PSU. I do know that it will not last as long as a Brand New PSU but I'm not aiming for that as I will be upgrading within 2-3 years depending on how my PC will handle Games in future. I do not want to exceed my budget; even though a PSU is the most important part in your PC, I will upgrade in the future. With that being said my budget is below £55...

Here's the link to the Corsair HX650

PC Specs:

Processor: AMD FX-8350 Black Edition (Overclock to 4.5GHz or 5.0GHz)
Graphics/Video Card: Gigabyte R9 280x Rev2.0
PSU: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/650w-corsair-hx-hybrid-m...
Motherboard: ASUS M5A97 Evo R2.0 or Gigabyte 970A-UD3P

Another Question is whether my CPU Cooler will fit in any of these motherboards if it might overlap any RAM slots?

RAM: 8GB DDR3
CPU Cooler: Coolermaster Hyper-Evo 212

Thank You!

yeek....i would not trust a "refurbished" with a nice r9 like you have...1 thing ive learned is dont scrimp in the psu department buddy...i tend to BUILD my comps around the good psu and go from there.
