46-48*C. at idle seems a little hot to me. What is your room temp?
My i5 4670K idles at 32-35*C. with room temp 76*F.
Have you tried a stress test?
You may want to re-seat your CPU cooler to be sure that it is on right.

My pc is locked in a corner surrounded by furniture. Temp in the room is pretty warm. So that may be the cause. I will try and re-sit the cpu cooler as well.
I was also planning on upgrading to a liquid cooler. Is it worth it ? Maybe the ''Corsair H100i Hydro'' or the ''Corsair H110 280mm'' ?
Right now im @ 4.00ghz with 1.2v. Average temp was 90degrees with prime95.
Here is a test comparing water all in one coolers to the Noctua NH D14:

Some of the water coolers were slightly better coolers than the Noctua NH D14, but they cost a lot more and the fans were pretty noisy at full load.
I bought a NH D14 and I have been very pleased with it. It is very quiet, even at full load.
Results with Prime95 will depend a lot on which version you use. Versions after 26.6 put a very high AVX load on the CPU causing abnormally high core temps. I would get ver. 26.6 and stay with that. I also use Intel Burn Test.
