Ok. I built a pc the other day and still have not been able to get the system to send a signal to any of the 2 monitors I have tried and a tv. The monitors I tried using both DVI and VGA cables and HDMI and VGA cables to connect to the TV. Still no luck. I have double and triple checked 5 hat everything is plugged in including the power to the GPU. I know that all the monitors and tv work because I use them for other things. I also have plugged into both GPU and mobo. I finally gave up and sent back the motherboard and cpu and got new ones. Still didn't help. I tried unplugging the GPU and just running through the mobo incase the GPU was DOA and it still didn't work. I then thought maybe if I take out the HDD and put it in my computer then install the OS and GPU drivers maybe that would work. I did that, put it back in the new PC and it still won't send a signal to monitors or tv. *sigh* So today I am back to trying to get it to work and I read a thread that said to test the ram. I thought well the system starts up and stays running but maybe it's the ram. I unplugged one ram and tried just the one ram. Then, just the other ram. Neither helped my situation, so I guess it could be both are bad or its something else. When I get home I will try taking the ram out of my computer and substituting. But in the mean time I hope some one has an idea to help me. I will also borrow the case speaker for my pc to use so I can actually hear if there are bios beeps. Final note. This is a pc for my friend I am building. I have already successfully built my pc and my boyfriends pcs so I am not super experienced but I do have a little bit of exprrience. PLEASE HELP!
