I'm having trouble finding an answer to which wireless adapter I should choose to add to my build. I have an H77M LGA1155 motherboard with a 7870 xt GPU attached in the PCI express 3.0 x16 slot. I figured a PCI adapter would be the way to go for the fastest connection, however they all seem to be PCI x1. I think I've found that they should still work in x16 slots, but now I'm confused about which components I should put in which PCI slots to optimize performance.
Would anybody be able to offer any insight into a good wireless adapter to choose?
