Hey guys,
i'm looking for a new gpu for playing games. i have been told that what i originally was going to get, the gtx 780, would be bottlenecked by my a10 6800k. Therefore i have been recommended a gtx 760 instead so that i do not waste money on graphics power that is not accessible to me.
However, someone else recommended the gtx 770.

My question is: "Would a GTX 770 also be bottle necked by my CPU like the 780, or would the 770 be able to unleash its full wrath and be more powerful than the 760???"

Unless your CPU is overclocked, I would say the 770 will be bottlenecked too. Therefore the 760 seems right - but I'm not too sure if theres a slight bottleneck there too!

I would say, the best choice is (it may not be AS good as the 760 or 770 but will certainly not disappoint) is to crossfire your apu graphics with a separate gpu. this is called AMD DUAL GRAPHICS.
For you 6800K, the best gpu you can dual graphics with is the HD 6670. Have a look at this http://www.cpu-world.com/info/AMD/Recommended_graphics_cards_for_AMD_dual-graphics.html

Here are some benchmarks with such a setup.http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/cpus/2013/07/02/haswell-and-richland-gpu-testing/5

I know this is a budget solution and not as glam as the 760 (or 770), but I would say it will work the best. . If you really don't want to go down the dual graphics route, I suggest an r7 260 or r7 260x - they will work fine. On the nvidia side, maybe a GTX 750Ti?

Tell me what you think.
