My notebook has a stock: AMD E-350 Processor 1.60 GHz.

I've come to find out that some laptop parts are soldered in so putting in a new one is impossible. I'd like something that is better able to do what I want my device to do, which is:

  • Record game footage
    Edit footage
    Livestream games, Skyping, etc.

Would it be better for me to just go for a new laptop or can I work with what I have?

Solution
If you're going to livestream games, record game footage and edit you need to build a desktop not a laptop.

Laptops are horrible with customization. Technology wise they have weak as hell hardware for the most part.

You could get a gaming laptop like the razer blade http://www.razerzone.com/gaming-systems/razer-blade

But for the price (a little over 2000 dollars) you could build a faster and stronger computer for half that price if not less depending on the parts you get.

If you have a budget in mine, and willing to save up, let me know and I'll be happy in assisting you in getting a list together.

Cheers.
