The display on my HP pavilion laptop messed up early last week leaving me with a grey/white screen which constantly changes colour showing various verical/horizontal lines therefore I hooked it up to my TV via HDMI. Everything had been running smoothly until this morning where when browsing youtube videos I got the blue screen of death. Ever since I restarted the computer my TV is showing a fuzzy/grainy display the likes of when your TV aerial is not plugged in. Is there any hope for me here? Bear in my I cannot see the display.

What is your computer's CPU and graphics card? Also, did HDMI to the TV appear any better than using the laptop screen?

2.3ghz Intel core i5, 4gb ram, 750 GB hard drive, Amd radeon HD6490m graphics card with windows 7. The display was running perfectly on the TV previous bar it being pixelated in a few spots while webpages were loading.

After having shut down the system for a few hours, I tried again and while the laptop itself boots up perfectly fine the display on the laptop is now pure white and the same problem still persists when I hook it up to my TV in terms of me getting a fuzzy/grainy display, I'm guessing there's next to nothing I can do about this?
