Hi I bought a new computer and only have 2 2.0 usb ports and my razer black widow ult 2013 key board wont work in usb 3.0 or my razer mouse Ouroboros mouse to work either.. and i still need to hook up my bose 5 speaker sound system

I'm not computer savvy but have figured out that driver need updating i did that and ran the MS fix system it says all is good.

From what i've read adding a usb 2.0 port hub will add more ports but I'm not sure they will power these kinds of draw.

3.0 does some weird things with powered devices. Often it seems like they work, then it powers them off, then back on. I agree it's odd. It's really designed to work almost exclusively with HDDs as mice and keyboards don't need the higher speed. This can result in older (USB 2.0) mice and keyboards not working properly.

I do remember reading a while back that there's some setting that can be changed in Windows to help older mice/keyboards work with 3.0 but I can't remember what it was.
