Basically, i just wanted some help on if the parts i have chosen are good and are going to give me a good gaming experience. i would like to run most games on high settings (Not ultra but yeah) 1080p above 30fps, averaging around 45-60+.

These are the parts i have chosen:
GPU: MSI R9 270X 2GB Hawk Graphics Card
CPU: AMD FX6300 3.5 Ghz OR 4.1 on turbo
MB: Asus M5A97 EVO R2.0
RAM: HyperX FURY Series 8GB (2x 4GB) DDR3 1866MHz CL10 DIMM
PSU: Corsair Builder Series CXM 600W Modular 80 PLUS Bronze Certified
HDD:WD 1TB 3.5 inch Internal Hard Drive Caviar Blue
CASE: Cooler Master CM690 II Advanced
DVD: Asus DVD-RW Drive

As you can probably tell from the title, i do want to keep the build under £600. And i wont be overclocking the CPU so i don't think i will need a aftermarket cooler, but if i do i can buy one later.

Thanks for all the help guys, really appreciated :)

Practically the same build as the FX-6300 one,but it allows for more upgrades in the future.
I have the exact same build like this one and I can play latest games at medium-high and still get over 50 FPS.
All the best. ;)

a bit more refined i would say. 1333mhz memory cl7, better gpu, ssd for OS and a Haswell ready PSU

per core performance is way better on intel core i cpu so even lower core count still better performance.

Don't worry.
The 4440 is still a good choice for a CPU and it will last for 2 years max from now.
You can feel free to upgrade to a better Intel CPU in the future,as well as a better GPU. ;)
