So i've recently built my computer it's about 1 month old. Everything ran like a dream until yesterday. There I was surfing the web, nothing too demanding then BOOM! computer turns off unexpectedly. I try to turn it back on but i can't, im forced to unplug and plug it back into the outlet then it'll turn back on. So i thought it might've been an overheating problem, check the temps and showed they were great, the CPU and GPU, system temp was 31 C. So then I though my GPU might've been to demanding for my powersupply, but it ran fine while playing heavy games like farcry 3 for 5 hours in one sitting, never hitting above 71 C. Anyways, these shutdowns continued to happened at least 5-6 times throughout the rest of the day. So i checked event viewer and it shows up that I had a Critical error the time my shut down would happen, stating "Kernal-Power event ID: 41." Do you think that It might be the powersupply is crapping out on me? I did recently replaced 3 case fans for more air flow, but I doubt that would cause any of this. My full specs are:

Mobo: GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3
CPU: Fx 8320
Cpu heatsink: Noctua NH-D14
Ram: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3
GPU: Gigabyte R9 290 core clock 947 Mhz
Keyboard/Mouse: CM Storm Devastator
SSHD: Seagate Hybrid Drive ST1000DX001 1TB

Solution
The CX series uses cheap caps and when these caps degrade to a certain point one of the problems is shutdowns. So it could very well be the PSU. Also I unselected that best answer for you.

So what do you think about these power supplies:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
or
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
or

would these be a way better option than the one i have now. Would i expect these shutdowns with 850W or is 750 W enough. And sorry that it took me so long to reply

None of those links work. A good 650w would be just fine for your system 850w+ if you want to crossfire. Get something from tier 1 or 2(a or b).

Sorry about that. So I think I going to buy an Antec HCG M HCG-750M. It's classified as tier 2A. and would only be 89.99 with the promo code. WOuld this be a better option than the one i have the CX 750.
