why is my computer getting into the 20s or 30s when im in explosions or just smoke? is my system or just the game? are any other people having the same problem with this game? the game just gets laggy and horrible when these intense situations happen.. but ive seen other people getting much more fps than me with lower cards.

Please help?

system specs are:
CPU: i7-4790k (not overclocked)
GPU: asus directcu 2 gtx 780ti OC edition.
mobo: asus Z97-A
PSU: cheftek 850W 80+ bronze edition.
RAM: 16gb 1600Mhz kingston.

It could just be the game (after all it is known to be glitchy). in the console of the game (accessed with `) try typing in "perfoverlay.drawfps 1" without the quotes. You can install a program called Nvidia Geforce Experience. It has a list of all games installed and you can optimize the settings for your card with a single mouse click. Hope this helps.

Could be a driver problem reinstall last non-beta version

hey, thanks for your fast response. I use perfoverlay.drawfps 1 to monitor my fps in games all the time.. and i have the exact same settings as the geforce experience advises me to use. which is ultra 1080p settings... so i dont think its any of that :/
