Windows 8.1 Text of selected icons unreadable--highlight box obliterates.
When I select an icon on the desktop, its title text becomes completely unreadable because a highlight white box obliterates the white text.
Any way to turnoff the highlight box or make it 99% transparent, or ???
See atch. NOTE--this is from a cellphone camera; I could not do screen capture because as soon as anything else was clicked to start the capture, the highlight would turn off.
Also, the icon label is much more readable in the pic than on the screen (far larger for one thing). The actual 'readability' is about like the word "hold" in the pic.
Having written all of that, I can find no control to allow adding the image.
Someone please tell me how to do that.
