I considered using the FX-8320 and overclocking it with the 212 Evo cooler and I thought that I would buy the i7 4790k on black friday. I want to be able to render video while I play a game and upload videos while I play games. So which CPU do you suggest?

An AMD FX-8320 performs similarly to an i7-4770K. Since you don't' have a budget over $150, you can't get an i5. So in the meanwhile, get keep your FX-8320.

The i7 would perform better however you'll be hard pressed to find one under $150. If you can great, otherwise the 8320 is a good cpu once OC'ed.

Save up for an Intel i7. It will cost more than $150 but that is what you really need for the workload that you describe!

"The 8320 performs similar to an I7."

Good joke, to battle a haswell I7 on 2.8 ghz, you need about 5.2ghz on the 8320.

So yeah, if you can wait a bit, save up for the I7.
If you need it now, the 8320fx is a great value cpu.

Save up and get a Xeon 1231v3. If this isn't a feasible option, FX 8320 is you best option.

Still, get the xeon + h97 board. Just as cheap as the i5+z97 board but comes with hyperthreading.

Unless you can really pick the i5 up for just $150, then that's an amazing option.
