Hi, I want to upgrade to a R9 280 or 280x but there are a few things confusing me. I'm not sure if firstly my motherboard will support it (I've got the Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3), and I'm not sure if my PSU will support it either (I have the Corsair CX600).
My current set up is:
-Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3
-R7 260x, 2 GB DDR5
-8GB DDR3 RAM
-one, 1 terabyte HDD
-FX 6300
-Corsair CX600 80 PLUS Bronze Certified
-Vantage Blue Gaming Case with LED Fans.

Nothing is overclocked.
If not are there any suggestions as to what i could do to make it work, or a different GPU? Thanks

The best suggestion i can give you for a video card is to find a nice 7970 off ebay for around $250. That will not have all of the latest technologies but is about equal to a gtx 770 or r9 290
