If you want 60 fps, a R9 290X or 780Ti is good, or a GTX 770 SLI setup.

Maybe. It really all depends on what you want to play. It'll do 60+fps in Minecraft, but not in Watch_Dogs.

Those monitors will get the same performance as the 30" monitors, because the resolution is the same (1920x1080). You could run 3 80" 1080p monitors or run 3 17" ones at 1080p and get the exact same performance. What games do you play, so I can tell you if you can get 60+ fps?

And I wouldn't buy that monitor personally, but it does look like a good one.

One R9 290X won't run the games you mentioned anywhere near 60 fps on 3 1080p monitors. You would need, at the very least, a R9 290X or 780Ti, probably two, to get 60+ fps.

As for good monitors...

This one is 1920x1080, 24", and costs $164.

You also might want to wait a few days for the Nvidia 900 series to be released, you may see something that you like more than the R9 280X, or at the very least the current prices of video cards will probably go down a bit.

thank you for the monitor option i think i like that monitor...as for the video card/s , they are VERY expensive! my price range for just my computer is already reaching its limit especially getting 2 of some video card, but i understand i need better video card/s if i want 60+ FPS

I would build the computer and get one monitor to start, and use the other ~$300 you would spend on 2 more monitors on the hardware components of the PC, like the CPU or GPU.

Both of those cards will run 3 monitors. I would wait until October to buy any video cards, as Nvidia will be releasing the 900 series at that time and the prices of all the current cards will hopefully drop.

oh ok so your not technically saying to get the nvidia 900, your just saying when it comes out the other video cards might drop in price and so then i would be able to get one of those cards for cheaper?

Right. And you never know, maybe Nvidia will release a sub-$250 GPU that performs better than the R9 280X.
