i have replaced my keyboard and I still have to hit the keys multiple times to get it to type. How can I fix this?

check for a stuck mouse button. unplug the mouse see if it works..look in windows for sticky keys see if it on. under keyboards look at the setting for type.

use your old keyboard or this new one on another computer see if it still has problem, change the ports u plug ur keyboard to, see if there's any specific key thats messing with you or its just random inputs, if all of this has been tried, if keyboards work fine on other computers, re-install ur Windows from fresh, if it persist, its hardware related to your motherboard and its ports and circuits related to keyboard functions
if other computers also had prob with that, obviously keyboards are defective

check to see if your OS has some type of adjustment scale that you can use to adjust how hard you need to press the keys to type.
