I have a vaio and it turns on and i can see screen moving but its black. The usb and lights dont turn on. I have a hard drive with ubuntu and one with xp.the vaio has vista factory installed. This is my third vaio project and other two became parts somewhat from me investigating. I tried commands for both ubuntu and windows. I guess im down to is it motherboard and i toss it or am i able to make it boot. It shows movement on screen and external monitor. And i have no disc drive so has to use usb but they no work. Help and i just want to say im boycotting apple after i bought g4 powerbook for $140 then to find out its not supported so i took that apart as well. So am i wasting my time with vaio?
