Did a quick update on AVG, restarted, and upon start up every time I get an approximate 7 second continuous beep. PC boots fine after that and there are no notable changes in its behavior.

A10-6800k (integrated gpu) Stock Cooler
MSI A55M-E33-FM2 mobo
EVGA 500B 500w psu
8GB 1x8gb 1333 ram
WD Green 2Tb hdd
Tenda wireless network adapter

Haven't had any time to open it up and move things around yet.

About 2 weeks ago I installed the above PSU and apart from that i cant think of any sudden changes made.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

just open the side of the case turn it on and look and it might just be a fan not starting up straight away, i used to have a cpu fan not spin for about 10 seconds on startup then it would start

also have a quick read thro you MOBO manual and find the beep codes and see if there is just one long continuous one

I looked at the mobo manual and its very vague and doesn't mention beep codes, funnily enough though, i have a Corsair H80i coming on tuesday so i'll test that and move the 8gb stick to a new slot to see if it fixes it.
Since I only have one stick of ram, does it matter which slot it goes in, because im not going to be in dual channel either way.

Sorted it.

Turned out that my headphones still had the playback voice feature turned on (normally turn it off after skype) and the sounds were coming through the headphones and into the mic causing a loop.

Was really confused though because it was causing by the "starting windows" noise, at the exact time at which you would get a post beep.
