PC very unstable

Recently, my computer has been unstable. Usually it will bootup just fine, other times it will not boot (I'll go into specifics below). Sometimes while playing games or watching videos, both of my monitors will go all black, and then display again, as if it had a mini-crash and recovered. Sometimes the computer will lockup, usually CPU hogged by "System Interrupts".

For the startup, sometimes I will press the power button, hear the beep, then nothing will display on my monitor. After several tries it will actually bootup. I have a temp monitor on the front of the case, and previously this screen will stay on nice and strong, but recently, it flickers, or the screen is very dim.

Anyone have an idea what may be the problem? I assume it may be a faulty graphics card, but I am not sure.

Hardware:
PSU: OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W
Motherboard: MSI 880G-E41
gfx: XFX Radeon HD 7850
CPU: Phenom II X4 955 BE Deneb
HDD: a Seagate HDD, WD HDD, and ADATA SSD
RAM: CORSAIR XMS3 4gb x 4
OS: Win 8.1

Solution
try slimdriver.. freeware. see if it finds anything that needs updating.

heat. clean all fans/heatsinks/pull and reinstall after cleaning up and reapplying new thermal paste...... ( cpu and graphics card ) clean case fans and NB&SB heat sinks.

update ssd firmware.

make sure the on board graphics is disabled in the BIOS...........

if you over clocked ANYTHING......... reset cmos to make it all run stock.......... a cmos reset might do something positive.

go to windows updates.

try some of this and get back.
