Hi, I just finished reading a review on the G-650, looks like its a fantastic unit. but what I would like to know, is realistically what could it power? late this year/ early next year I'd like to upgrade to a i7 5820k, ASrock X99 extreme 4 and 16gb DDR4, I know It could power this... but what kind of graphics card could I use.. would something like a 780/R9 290 be pushing this unit? or would it be fine?

thanks!

R9 290 TDP 275 W
GTX780 TDP 250 W
i7-5820K TDP 140 W

So if you take the more power hungry R9 290 with that CPU you get 415W. Add 100 for the rest of the system (overkill) 515W. Then I like to add 100-150W on top of that for headroom and you get 615-665W.

That PSU would have no problem powering the system you are considering, plus it is a nice high end unit that can actually put out its stated power.

This is a good psu i used it but i'm recently experiencing problems with it not sending the right power or signal to the mobo. Very quiet and efficient, maybe my luck is just bad
