2x2 cl9 vs 1x4 cl8

Building a cheapo g3258, figure I can get by with 4gb ram. If I get a single stick, i can upgrade to 8 later. However I saw a post that said using dual channels will give a 15% speed boost. The cheapest options for me are:

As you can see I'm paying $20 extra for the dual sticks which are higher CAS , as well as losing upgrade potential. On the other hand, this build has no other upgrade potential, as the next time I have money to spend ddr4 and 4k will be the standard.

In short, is it worth $20 to go dual channel?

The single stick with the tighter CL will perform near the same as the 2x2GB, should be fine
