This has been my first pc build and I have been having difficulty in having a success reaching bios. The power turns on, all fans spin, dvd drive etc seem to work and are fully powered (as far as i can see )
So far it looks as if everything is put in correctly, i went in and installed every part a second time to make sure everything was secure as well.
I'm trying to narrow down the problem and have been quite stuck on this for awhile.
When i turn on the power, the fans start to spin, lights up but when I go to start the computer, the screen is blank blue. Nothing shows up, no bios etc.
I have also tried to reset the CMOS as advised with the jumpers.
Not sure if this effects anything either but it is worthy to note that I bought a DVI cable to connect to the HDMI port on my screen
The ports on my video card are DVI-i and DVI-D
Could it be a possible problem with the cable ? Though I was thinking the blue screen signify that it is showing some sort of display
