I have a Samsung 850 Pro SSD, with Windows 8.1 installed to it. I have 20% of my hard drive over provisioned, because according to an article that's the sweet spot. How much additional space should I keep free on the drive so the speed of Windows isn't hindered? Meaning...how much can I fill it up besides the 20% I have set aside so Windows operations aren't significantly hindered? Is 5% set aside from Windows okay?

I have been running a Samsung 840 PRO for a while (it may be a year now), 128GB - I have about 85-90GB between Windows and program files (all data was moved to a HDD (WD 1TB Black) to keep space free for the OS.

Just set 10% overprovisioning in Samsung Magician, and you should be all set. I have a regular 840, and only have 12GB left, but i Overprovisioned 10% and i'm still reaching full benchmarks and my PC boots in 4 seconds.
