I'm having a strange problem with my Radeon 6800 series card. When I try to play games, they run as if I'm using the integrated graphics with poor performance, but the device manager says my graphics card is working properly. In addition, the card fan spins. Also, when I attempt to boot into BIOS, my monitor doesn't receive a video signal, so I can't check or edit those settings.

What games are you trying to play?

Most likely the graphics card is working fine, but you should realize that graphics card is about 10 years old now. In computer years, its ancient. Modern games should never be played on it. Even slow integrated graphics are often faster.

Enable your pc to use pcie graphics in bios so it doesn't use integrated graphics.

The card is only a little over a year old, perhaps I misread. And my monitor doesn't show anything while I'm in BIOS so I can't make changes.

You miss read.

Came out in 2004. For making the changes, we are talking about plugging the monitor straight into the motherboard because there is a different video part which will handle the BIOS in there by default.

Oops wait, sorry I miss read big time. It was like 1AM when I saw this first so my bad. The Radeon 6800 is from about 2010. Its a lot better
