I'm buying a 2000 USD gaming pc with an i7 4770k and gtx 760 with 16 gigs ram, will it work? And any recommendations? I'll be playing all brand new games like bf4.

Yes, 4770k and GTX 760 are of course compatible... So you know, that CPU is very much overkill for gaming. The GTX 760 GPU is barely cutting it for ultra gaming graphics. If you can, reduce the CPU to a 4670k or 4690k, and use the $100 savings to get an AMD Radeon 280X or NVidia GTX 770 GPU. This will make your performance in games noticeably better, whereas the 4770k won't make much of a difference over a 4670k or 4690k.

Also, just so you know, it is i7 not 1-7. I don't know if that was autocorrect or something, but no one wants to sound like a novice in the tech forums hehe ;)

For Gaming, get the newer i5 4690k, 8 GB RAM, and a R9 280X at least (or wait for Maxwell) Post your whole build and budget.

EDIT: sorry, didn't realize you already posted your budget. Is it in USD, EUR, AUD or some other currency?
