I recently (a month or so ago) upgraded my PC specs. This is what I'm running now:
Intel i5-4690 @ 3.50 GHz Processor (New)
ASUS H87-PRO Motherboard (New)
ASUS GTX 770 GPU (New)
Seasonic M12II Bronze 620W Evo Edition Power Supply (New)
HDD 1TB (Old - Around 2 Years)

I recently had other problems with my PC which you can read here:http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2272817/windows-explorer-crashing-works-safe-mode-temporary-black-screens.html

But now i have a different problem.
When I turn on my PC either there is a long Please Wait... screen or a long Welcome screen after login. The Please wait screen sometimes disappears after a few minutes and I can login, but the welcome screen keep showing until a press Ctrl+alt+Del then it continues to desktop. When I get to desktop it sometimes works perfectly but sometimes crashes because of steam or a similar program.

In safe mode before the login screen there is a short black screen but not the long welcome screen.

I have tried SFC scan and startup repair, clean bot. Nothing works.

I think it might be my HDD. I'm planning on buying a SSHD and cloning it.

Sorry if any spelling mistakes, writing from phone.

If you are planning to replace the drive, you should be all set although I'd recomment a clean Windows setup especially if you have not reinstalled Windows in a while. There are many ways to test the hard drive, check with the drive maker for a utility from them, if they don't have one, Seatools from Seagate works to test other brands of drives.
