When I boot up my pc, the regular beep sound doesn't occur, and no signal with go through to my 2monitors(I tried 1 just in case). My pc was the same as it always is, fans spinning etc. but I noticed a red light under the text "DRAM LED". Usually it's a yellow/green light and it has me worried.

How do I fix it?

sounds like a cooked ram stick. try booting with just 1 stick of RAM. if that doesn't work, try using 1 stick of ram but in another slot. this will tell you if the motherboard or the RAM is at fault.

I have only the 1stick of RAM. So that's bad right about now

try putting it in a different slot. or try booting without the stick at all. see if that gets a different response.

if the RAM is the issue and you try booting without it, the system should turn on and give 3 long beeps, indicating that no memory is found.

i'm glad i was able to help out! i'm 8 for 9 tonight on the problem solving. there was one guy with a virus i couldn't help out... oh well.

back to your situation, it looks like that RAM slot went bad. i've seen it happen from time to time. you can run with a bad RAM slot just fine if you don't need to use it. however, if your mobo is under warranty i would get it replaced sometime soon. i'm not saying that other parts of the board WILL start dying too, but it is a possibility.

good luck
