This appears all over the map after 20 min of playing . Once the map changes or restarts it goes away, then after 20 min it come's back. I have tried all sorts of tweaks and nothing seems to work.

I tried Different drivers, reinstall game, check hard drive for error, defrag hd. Default clock on cpu with default clock on gpu then underclock gpu. Turn off a/v and firewall . nothing different as a result .

Is a minor annoyance just keeps me scratching my head, I played for a few weeks and did not see this. In the past few days I started to notice and try to fix , I have looked all over for answers but no luck . Im starting to think maybe its bad RAM ???? I just got it 3 months ago with the video card.

When playing BF3 my Temps are never exceeding 47c on CPU and 76c on the GPU

I'd say gpu overheating. Are you running it at stock speeds? E: should read before answering. :p

It's not the core of your card, but the memory vrm. See if GPU-z would show any more sensors.

Battlefield 3 graphical tracer lights NOT SOLVED

Some Help , ideas or though's would be much appreciated . I have searched far and wide over the net to find an answer.
I can solve most pc problems , this seems simple enough. Drivers maybe, old bios, defective card, corrupt files. Cant be true...

The Issue comes on after about 20 min of playing any map. They crop out of the ground as seen in the screen shot
and same lights get left behind any vehicle that shoots a machine gun or cannon. So when a jet flys by firing its gun, it leaves a trail of these lights . they stay there for about 10 sec and then disappear. But not always . some stay until the map restarts. then another 20 min later its lights again.

What I do know
GPU - 2GB EVGA GTX 770 OC/SC . Driver 359.06 BIOS 80.04.C3.00.72
-Dose not overheat. Max temps low 40's (have tried recommended drivers for bf3 , no effect.)
-Maximum performance enabled( clock speeds stay stock , normally it deviates up and down based on demand. like intel speed stepping)
-60hz monitor ( Depend's on map.fps 80 to 140 medium settings) ( different resolutions and graphics settings, vsync have no effect)

I have
-installed direct x , and the msv redist out of the bf3 install folder. no effect
-Reinstalled the game. no effect
-Updated Net.framework
-Clean and defrag hard drive, and the windows registry
-disabled DEP with cmd and restart.
-Set run as admin for bf3.exe and bf3webhelper.exe
-Add bf3.exe and bf3webhelper.exe to antivirus and firewall exceptions list.
-Disable all services associated with nvidia experience, no effect. Uninstalled nvidia expereince, no effect.

My motherboard bios is up to date, all chipset drivers are current. I know my GPU is not defective . It runs many games well including BadCompany 2 , Battlefield 4 , Battlefield Hardline, all run great without any issue. To many games to list but, all run flawless except Battlefield 3.

I feel like I did everything possible to trouble shoot. Disabling virtual memory on both hard drives was a though I had.
Thinking bf3.exe is using virtual memory . The response time from a 7200 rmp HD , is bottlenecking the GPU ???
(Corsair tripple channel 1333mhz 12 Gig DDR3 ) Would the game preform better with virtual memory disabled on hard drives , and just use the physical memory, I never go over 5 gigs anyhow . - Thanks In Advance :)

Attention Moderators. I Would Like to restart this old thread to find help - cheers

I will update with real time GPU-Z data in real time as events happen in game
With more screen shots including render.drawvisable , and precision x overlay
