Hello guys, I need some help with a huge problem that I'm having right now.
I have an Acer V3 771G / GT 650M model / NON UEFI BIOS.
I have tried to update my bios with a modified/unlocked version of the BIOS through Insyde Windows Installer that Acer and the guy that unlocked it provide and after going in my bios and changing a video setting from sg to PCI, I have received the black screen + some beeps and some fluctuations in the fan speed. I figured it was the BIOS setting and tried to reset/restore the BIOS.
I have tried many methods to restore/reset my BIOS but nothing seems to work. There is a method where you take a USB Flash Drive, format it to FAT32, download the original BIOS from Acer and take the .fd file from the DOS folder + the flash it file and copy them on the drive, after that you press Fn + Esc on the Acer laptop and it should restore the BIOS in a matter of minutes ( up to 8 minutes ). THAT doesn't work for me at all. I have tried several times, changed the name of the file to zg5ia32.fd or BIOS or the original name, nothing works.
I the several attempts that I have made there seems to be a change, now the laptop doesn't make any beeps at all and the fan is in low rotation / similar to idle.
I have tried several USB drives, bigger, smaller, FAT / FAT32, I have tried with a USB drive that has a LED on it so you can see when it's being used, I'ts being used for the first 2/3 seconds when i start the laptop and that's it, nothing else.
The only LED that I can see on my laptop is the one for power and the screen is 100% black all the time, no flicker, nothing, HDMI doesn't work either.

I have found the Manual for the motherboard where it only explains how to update the BIOS when you actually can see something on the screen.
There is only one viable option that I have found in that manual, reseting the BIOS with a "short" applied to the RTCRST# but I don\t know how to short that, it shows me where is located but how do I short it and what do i leave in the laptop, the battery ? the CMOS ? RAM Module etc.

I have tried removing only the CMOS battery and pressing the Power button in order to drain it out of power hoping it will reset, nothing.

PLEASE try and help me out with this, I will be more than happy to hear you guys out and get some advice on what to do next.

P.S. The modified BIOS that I have used it's usually stable, I have used it before, the only problem was when I've changed the Video Settings.

Thank you in advance !
