Hello :)

I have had the TT case Tai-Chi for quite a while now, and as beautiful and robust is that case, its somewhat small for recent hardware upgrades. i.e: I cant fit my 660ti with the double fan of my old Water cooling which comes bolted to the door.

I have recently upgraded to i7-3930k but since the old cooler could not fit the new socket, i had to stick with the stock fan, and i must say, its noisy, loud and keeps the cpu around 50-60 deg

So now its time to invest in a good case, with a great Water cooling.

I am looking for something good, that i would buy once and forget about it. I read a lot of reviews about the corsair LC, and most of them were positive.

Our choice is the Corsair range, H80i H90 H100i H105 and H110. Can anyone tell me btw what is the mm number after every model ? i.e: 140 mm, 240 mm

For the case, i am looking for something quite big, and with a lot of room and fans. Available choices are Cooler Master, Corsair, Silverstone, Antec, Bitfenix, Gigabyte, and TT.

Total budget in mind is around 180$ for LC and 200$ for the case.

Hopefully i'll be able to decide and order the parts by tonight :)

Thanks for the intel guys!!

PS: just for info, here is what the Tai-Chi looks like

I can recommend the Corsair Air 540. Great looking case, plenty of room in the dual chambers.

I use two Corsair AIO liquid coolers, a H105 for CPU and a H55 for GPU.

i have the H110. it is a pair of 140mm fans. i looked at buying the H100i but it is a pair of 120mm fans, and would not work for my case, which is a cooler master cosmos.

personally, i don't like it. my i7 5930k OCed (modestly) to 4GHz hits 62*C on most cores at full load. i wish i would have gone with air cooling. something like a noctua cooler. but i got it on sale at microcenter for only about $70 so I can't cry about it too much.

Yeah, if you get a big case, I'd advise you to go with the noctua nh-d15. Saves you a bit of money, performs slightly stronger than a h100i and is a lot quieter.
The h110 should perform similar, too, though. 60c for the 5930k on 4ghz seems about right, depending on voltage and ambient.
Performance eise, the 1-3c range between nh-d14, nh-d15, h100I and h110, shouldn't be the determining factor for the decision. If running quiet is important for you, go with nh-d14/15 on low profile. If you are deaf and have the extra $20 and like the idea of AiO water cooling (looks cool) get the h100I/h110 on stock fans.

PS: Why can't germany have micro centers? :(
I built my pc about a month back. Being in america now, I could have saved $300 (€250) just by buying parts here. Their deals are amazing.
