Which Graphic Card should i buy for ASUS - M4A88T- M- LE

I have Gaming PC, with following Config:

AMD Phenom 2 X4 955 Processor, Asus Motherboard- M4A88T-M-LE, Graphic Card- XFX ATI- HD-6850 1 GB, DDR5, Cooler Master Half X Cabinet with 550 W SMPS, Transcend 2 GB DDR3 Ram.

I would like, to know, what component could i upgrade to play much more advanced grapgically intensive games, and plz also tell me which model of graphic card, should i buy.

Also tell me, i feel as a layman, that out of above mentioned components, Graphic Card seems to be below standard = 1GB, isnt that should be atleast 4GB

Dont buy a stronger GPU its of no use i thik its best for you to upgrade the whole system a strong gpu will get bottlenecked by your CPU.

your processor is old you need a strong processor for a strong card plus your ram is not at all enough for modern games the minimum requirement for modern game is 4gb and recommended is 6 gb so 8 gb is the appropriate ram for a gaming pc.

what is make and model of the PSU wattage wise it will support most of the mid rage cards but the quality is necessary.
