AMD fx6350 + GIGABYTE gtx660 + 1 x1Tb hdd + 1xDVDRW on an Asrock 970 Extreme4 . This machine already burns 2 psu the first was 450W and the second was 550W .Although either two of them were Corsairor thermaltake or any "Good " and expensive brands , the first was Powertech 450w and the second Hantol 550w. Is there any case to have Something faulty on my built wich burns every psu that I am installing???

Solution

you dont have to go for more wattage than required u can add a 1000 watt psu but if you want but the extra power will never be used.
buying a thermaltake PSU is not a wise choice average quality PSU.
you are lucky that they were only the psu ALWAYS USE GOOD QUALITY 80+ CERTIFIED FOR A GAMING PC
gtx 660 requires 24 amps and a minimum of 450 watt of PSU.

use any of these PSU in future.

ALTHOUGH I THINK PSU WERE CRAPPY AND GOT BURNT AT LOAD THERE IS ANOTHER EXPLANATION THAT IS EARTHING AND POWER SURGE SO CALL AN ELECTRICIAN AND DO A PROPER EARTHING OF THE BOARD WHERE YOU INSERT THE PSU PLUG .

I finally bought a Thermaltake 500W with 85+ PFC and everything gone just fine . But I wonder what are the standards of classic psu manufacturing .... All these cheap psus are just cruppy or did I have to go for much more watts for this system ??

running this cpu @ 4.5ghz with a gtx780 on a CX600M for a while ...
don't feel too comfortable myself to be honest but your previous psu's were probably crap.
- oh wait i just read their names ... yeah, hopefully your system isn't damaged by those yet...
